Perfecting the Pump Operator

Description

This 2-day class will provide students with knowledge and skills to go from a basic to intermediate pump operator.  You will learn big water operations, engine positioning and intake/discharge principles.  The instructors will discuss obstacles and how to overcome things such as loss of water, mechanical failures and loss of power.  If you are not interested in the math, but interested in pumps, this class is for you.   

Special Requirements
Students need turnout gear but no air packs.
