Street Smart Engine and Truck Company Operations

This is the combination of the Street Smart Engine and Street Smart Truck classes. During the course of this intense 3 day hands on class, you will rotate through multiple realistic stations and will leave with the confidence, skills, and abilities to safely and effectively operate in any assignment on the fire ground.  Skills stations include the essential truck company functions, as well as multiple engine company rotations. Whether you need to refine your truck skills, or brush up on stretching and flowing lines with limited staffing, you will find the best of both worlds here.  You will gain valuable street smart tactics and tips based on experience from instructors from a variety of departments serving in both urban and suburban settings. 
 

Special Requirements
Certified Firefighter I or II. You must bring full NFPA approved protective turn-out gear with SCBA and two tanks. Instructors will inspect gear and reserve the right to reject any found to be unacceptable. Also bring a flashlight
