This 40 hour course meets the NFPA 1002 requirements for the Fire Apparatus Operator while maximizing the students hands on training. The online portion of the class will be held October 3-16. The hands on portion will be October 17-20 and will include drafting, reviewing truck components, scenario based evolutions, problem solving, multi-line pumping, master stream pumping and considerations. We will incorporate the modern FAO challenges of 2 and 3 firefighter engine companies.
Students need turnout gear but no air packs.
