Heart disease is the number one killer of men and women in the U.S.  Heart attack is most commonly thought of as heart disease, but a number of conditions affect the cardiovascular system and its ability to distribute oxygen rich blood throughout the body.  A panel consisting of patients who have experienced heart attacks, conditions requiring open- heart procedures, heart rhythm problems, heart failure, and living with heart disease will tell their stories of surviving the initial heart events and living with their conditions.
