This three-session interactive class will provide an overview of different types of dance with a focus on ballroom dancing. Participants will learn basic steps for popular ballroom dances and the latest research on the health benefits of dancing for seniors. Session one will cover the practical aspects of social dancing. Students will learn to dance the waltz, the oldest, the most elegant and the easiest ballroom dance. Dance Partner not required. Session two is offered on October 18, 2018.
