ID : 4640
« back to classes page
This class will tell the story of tourism in the area from Vermilion in the east to Port Clinton in the west, south to include Milan, Bellevue, and Fremont, and north to include Marblehead and the Lake Erie Islands.  This unique area of shores and islands has been a focus for tourism since the years immediately following the Civil War. In 2015, John and Marie Hildebrandt co-authored “Lake Erie’s Shores & Islands” that will tell the story of the region through more than 200 vintage photographs.
