This is a two-part class. The year 2018, marks exactly a century since the end of the First World War. This course will discuss the changes in military technology and equipment from the end of the US Civil War through World War I. World War I weapons, uniforms, soldier’s equipment, and other items will be on display. Through photographs, demonstrations and other methods, including actual weapons demonstrations, students will increase their knowledge of the state of military technology in use during World War I.
Part II is offered on May 4, 2018.
