In this course we will review examples of raptor-human conflicts that occur in urban ecosystems, including situations that involve human health and safety issues, economic impacts of varying degrees, and other problems. We will also discuss methods that are focused on alleviating these raptor-human conflicts to minimize impacts and maximize benefits to both people and birds.
